WHAT IS TARKSHETRA

"Tarkshetra: The Debating Conclave" is a premier debate event set to take place at Banarason January 30- February 1, 2025. This event aims to create an intellectual battlefield where ideas clash and solutions are extracted through constructive dialogue and rigorous debate between delegates. Tarkshetra brings multiple debate formats together including Model United Nations (MUN), Youth Parliament, Parliamentary Debate and Congressional Hearings, offering a platform for participants to showcase their analytical thinking, diplomatic skills, and leadership potential on given stage.

What is MUN ?

Model United Nations (MUN) is an educational simulation where students act as delegates representing various countries in the United Nations. Participants debate current global issues, draft resolutions, and work together to solve challenges, enhancing their understanding of international relations, diplomacy, and negotiation. MUN develops critical thinking, public speaking, and teamwork skills.
